A little on Our Executive Pastry Chef and Owner- Judy “Pop” Papadimitriou
Judy was classically trained in Pastry Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. She is a Charleston local and a graduate of Trident Academy of Mt. Pleasant, SC. For over twenty five years, Judy has served as an accomplished, award winning Executive Pastry Chef for banquets, events, and weddings for numerous professional hotels and resorts including: The Charleston Place, The Peabody of Memphis, Kiawah Resort, and Rio Suite & Hotel of Las Vegas. Judy has also worked in the creative environments of entrepreneurial bakeries including Ambrosia, Charleston Cookie Company, and K&W/Southern Market. Judy has been a consultant and collaborated with other Chefs, bakeries and restaurants in the Charleston area. Creating delicious, memorable desserts is Judy’s true enjoyment. She is known for her diligence, integrity, and hardworking ‘get it done’ attitude all while keeping her sense of humor and smile.
